Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year!?

Living in the middle of the woods in Maine with a large clearing facing north in my backyard has its advantages. Anyone else get a good view?

Supposed to have been able to see it up here (just south of montreal.) but it had been overcast for days at that point. Aaahhh, fall is in the air.

It's been visible all the way down here in Southern Illinois, but mostly you have to use a sensitive camera to catch it. I haven't been able to see it with naked eyes, but the pictures are all over facebook.
