Was browsing at Family Dollar one day, and found a box full of Dino Valley Pocket Dino 3D Skeleton models.
I realized that the Velociraptor was just about the same size as the Vertebreak mold, so I bought one to see if I could combine parts of it with a spare Vertebreak to make a new fossilizer.
I cut off Vertebreak's arms, head, and inner foot claw and replaced them with bits from the model. The new enlarged toe claws actually come from a Dollar Tree velociraptor toy that I forgot to get a picture of, but it's pretty much just your average generic plastic 'raptor.
The head is connected with a Kre-O ball joint.
Then I painted the whole thing up in a vaguely bone-colored paint, kinda sloppy dry-brush style to try to make it look like bone. Looks better in person, zooming in like this kinda accentuates the sloppiness.
