Mine in podunk Oklahoma has pegs for AotP deluxe and Voyager, Studio Series Deluxe and Voyager, plus Retro, B-127 and Devastation Optimus Prime.

Bah, frickin’ Target. Running a 30% off sale, local store had almost NOTHING aside from SS86 Bumblebee, a few ONE Battlers, and some ONE and Earthspark exclusives. And a lone SideBurn, just to mock me.

I would be incredibly disappointed if that were true.
I saw that sale too. I did manage to get a Solus Prime on it. Could have gotten Red Alert too, but I had just gotten charged for him on Pulse that morning, so I couldn't cancel him.
Came "this" close to getting Air Raid on the sale but yesterday was my son's Birthday and next weekend is Easter so I was a good Dad and spent my money on my kids instead.

Found the Fallen and Solus Prime during the sale. Saw Grimlock too, but even on sale, I'm still passing on a same character repaint at that scale. Still haven't seen Prima or the Aerialbots, but I'm not really looking for them either.
Got Prima and Wasp on the 30% off sale, so I was able to cancel my preorders from Pulse. They had Megatronus, too, but he was already in my BBTS Pile of Loot, so I left him there.

It's been stated by the designers that none of the Primes were designed with retools in mind. They might dig out the tooling down the road, but for the foreseeable future there are no planned retools or repaints of any of the Prime molds.
If that's true, wow. We really did lose all the managers who would normally be asking "Alchemist who?"
The Fallen feels like they could reuse a lot of his engineering to make a G2 Megatron. Change the chest plate, maybe the forearms to fill out the front of the turret. It'd be a totally new mold with the same transformation scheme, but it could work.
And we're better for it.
Off the top of my head...
You can get Sunbow Sentinel Prime/U-Haul Robo out of Prima with a new head, chest, and truck front.
Solus Prime could be retooled into a RiD '15 Steeljaw.
Onyx Prime looks like he could make a fun Cybertron Scourge.
Alchemist Prime could make a good Prime Ratchet.
Megatronus Prime? Crazy idea... IDW Megatron.
Other than a slight resemblance in the truck mode, there's really nothing shared between them. Solus isn't nearly beefy enough to come anywhere close to Steeljaw.
I think he more likely to be used as a 86 Megatron after some retooling and a new cannon and then give him a accessory of his G1 alt mode so that can go to 86 SS to recreate the attack on the shuttle scene for those into doing that, leave the staff weapon out along with the blade and replace the blade with something that looks like what he used to wound Optimus in the movie, they did a G2 colour scheme on the Earthrise kingdom figure and we resently had a G2 Optimus, granted its not the best as someone thought to make the shoulder pads static, same with Armada Megatron
Maybe not Steeljaw then, but certainly his sister Sharpclaw.

Now that I would accept. Prime Ratchet's design is closer to that, having a fibble chest.
