I am still holding out hope for some more repaints of that Starscream. I know Thundercracker and Skywarp were different molds than Starscream in Cybertron, but damn if that mold would look great in black and purple!
I remember joining in 1999 as I had just gotten back into Transformers and had been using an old message board format out there (don't even remember the site) and someone mentioned a conversation at this new board. I jumped over an joined right after. I spent my first 8 years on the board as...
The only version of Breakdown I own. I did get the BotCon Megatron version of the mold, but that's it. I might consider picking up an APC version if they make one.
That's a great way to look at this. Where as SS86 is clearly targeted to fans, I think this one is targeted to the Kids who still want to play with an Optimus Prime but who's parents don't want to drop $90.
With my collector's glasses though, this one holds no interest.

I'm a dumbass... sorry. I honestly didn't think about that. Core class, or as @lastmaximal pointed out, a kids line would work well for an action figure. I am also more tempted to pick up the D16 and Orion model kits now. I've avoided model kits in the past because they didn't transform. I...
Hey everyone, I'm creating a dedicated thread for this articulation topic as I think it is great discussion.
[ADMIN HAT] I just moved all this discussion about articulation to the new thread. I hope everyone is okay with that as I think it is a wonderful discussion topic. [/ADMIN HAT]
