Despite its age, Beast Wars still looks very good in terms of body and facial animation which, at the time, were state of the art for a CGI TV show. The much more recent Netflix War for Cybertron trilogy looks noticeably inferior in those respects, which shows that superior technology cannot...
I'm surprised no one has posted about it already but a new fan film called Transformers: Starscream OVA was just released on YouTube.
It's a pretty short but very well made journey into cartoon G1 Starscream's mind. It features great-looking cell-shaded 3D models (reminiscent of the movie in...
I wonder just how often the acquisition of a small company by a much bigger one results in better products and/or service to the customers. I'd say very rarely, if not exceptionally rarely.
That's the problem, I don't have such a device since I'm using my PC. However, the images I'm saving using Page Info (CTRL + I) in Firefox have the same resolution so it's only taking me a few minutes more than by using Calibre.
I did but even with the appropriate plugin (DeDRM), it couldn't remove the DRM from the new IDW issues I bought and judging from the file size, the quality was almost certainly the same as what I grabbed manually. And considering that would be my only use for Calibre, I just uninstalled it.
Thanks for the info about where to grab the DRM-free backups from older Comixology purchases Salt-Man Z!
Everything has become so much more obscure and complicated since the merge and unless things change for the better (and they won't, because *Amazon*), they are going to lose a bunch of...
I'm in the same boat. I have both a US and a Canada Amazon account and I have no idea which one to link to my kindle account.
I just merged my Comixology account to my Amazon one and actually "reading" my purchases on my PC is so much less intuitive than it ever was before, not to mention no...
I never finished Other M and not because the gameplay was bad (I actually enjoyed it overall except for the missile that required aiming at the screen) but because the story *really* wasn't good where Samus was concerned. Yoshio Sakamoto apparently can only imagine Samus as two things: either a...
It's really too bad that they included Castlevania: Dracula X (SNES) instead of Dracula X: Rondo of Blood (PC Engine CD) which is a much superior game.
I love the Game Boy Advance Castlevania games. As a matter of fact, I love them so much that I once made it my mission to assemble...
I sort of covered a weird spectrum of smaller indie PC games and mainstream Switch releases :
Assemble with Care (PC)
Maquette (PC)
Superliminal (PC)
Super Mario Odyssey (NS)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (NS)
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (NS)
Axiom Verge (PC)
