I'm hoping Skar is a new Dinobot, too. Expanding the lineup has always been something I'm on board with. The more boring possibility is that maybe this is another new name for Slag? Or repaint of Bomburst as the old Powermaster?
Animted Prowl would be great. More Junkions are always...
Sorry for the double post, but I was just thinking about how true this is. Transformers was definitely up there as one of my favorite toys as a kid, but there were others. And, sure enough, Transformers has managed to merge with or reference almost all of them over recent years:
Micro...
Right? Looks pretty fun. Between Micro Machines and the JADA toys G1 "Nano Hollywood Rides" sets, there have been several MM scaled Transformers items lately. Slowly but surely, Transformers has been combining with all of my other childhood toys.
Hadn't seen a thread for this on the Allspark, but BWTF has official pictures and information on the new official Micro Machines Transformers G1 Optimus playset with Tracks. Pretty cool little set.
Also, I guess it is available to order on Amazon for $20.
That is a very good point. I have a feeling it was more of a "find a way to get a couple more fossilizers out there" than any well thought-out reasoning.
That said, I'm happy to get Spindle and Master Dominus, and am just planning on keeping them with my other Fossilizers instead of really...
Looks like a fairly lateral move compared to Earthrise. If I hadn't managed to snag an Earthrise one, I'd be happy for the second chance, but I don't feel a need to upgrade.
Yeah, I'm wondering if they gang-molded the new parts of Spindle with the new parts of Impactor, hence the matching color schemes?
I would love to have a version of Spindle in a more natural bone/fossil type color, but I don't know how likely that is. I'm pretty sure we're lucky to be getting...
Absolutely. I start to get "the look" from my wife when there's a new package out on the doorstep several days in a row. I'm sure it's because they're all coming over on the same boat, but it is funny how sometimes several preorders that were originally spaced months apart all show up early...
Two new arrivals from yesterday with similar color schemes. The Brontotron was picked up at an awesome vintage toy/antique store in northern Illinois, and Spindle was waiting for me on the front porch when we got home.
Oh, I totally get the desire, I just don't think that's what they're trying to do right now with Legacy. I would love to see more animation accurate Animated style toys, but that's more something that would be put into a Studio Series type of line? I am 100% down with the idea of Studio Series...
I think the whole point of the Legacy line is that it's supposed to bring in characters from all different aspects of the franchise, but in a unified design aesthetic. Basically, it wouldn't be a toy of Animated Lugnut, it's a toy of a Lugnut from a G1-adjacent universe that's inspired by the...
