I'd think the problem with doing that is they'd fit in with nothing else. While I was a bit bummed way back when Mattel first started using the MOTUC bucks for Thundercats, at this point it's established. That being said, S7 has revived O-rings for Joes, so if anyone was going to start doing...
The X-19 holds a special place as the last GIJoe toy I ever got as a gift as I was mostly "too old" by that point (hah - showed them). It and the Tactical Battle Platform are also the only two Joe toys in my current collection (aside from basic figures) that I never sold off.
Anything of this sort can be done... it's unlikely it will be however.
I suspect it would suffer a fate similar to the Super 7 Cobra Mothership. People would gripe about it being too expensive, but also not big enough, and also not include enough things, but also including the wrong things.
Woo, happy anniversary. The Wayback machine doesn't even go that far back - but it's close.
Didn't discover things quite that early myself but been here a while and thankful for it.

I don't want the thread to derail with the political discussion, just offering an option for our current reality.
I agree the "kids don't care about articulation" statement that has even come from toymakers has never made sense to me. Kids will play with what you give them, but I'd wager if you lined up action figures of varying levels of articulation that otherwise looked the same, they'd probably lean...
"Toy catalog conversion" is not quite the strong support you might think it is. :ROFLMAO: ;)
I never had him originally, but to me it makes more sense to have the stuff on the front of the leg like Nosecone.
I've preorderd the first two, but kind of expect to cancel them. This way I've got time to think about it.
On the one hand, I like Dev being the same size as all the other combiners. I could probably move Big Dev over to my MP shelf to offset my MP-sized Superion Combiner KO. On the third...
I was surprised with Hiya Toys Flint, as I got no shipping notice from Cooltoys; I just noticed a random package shipped from Ebay on my USPS Informed Delivery dashboard.
He's pretty cool. Certainly not the stand in for the V1 Flint I was hoping for in my 25th display, but he'll fit in very...
Marvel has been doing it with the Avengers for ages now. Why wasn't the Hulk or Thor or Iron Man called in? Oh, they're in space. In the end, it's still a big planet and humans are still gonna "human" leaving plenty for the Joe team to do.
If nothing else, the fact that these aliens are able...
It was definitely a nightmare to complete because the final component set was a Ross Dress for Less discount dump in limited numbers. I drove all over Houston before I found exactly ONE. So yeah, you were lucky!
Ooof.
It's really tough to imagine a MASS device just selling on its own. It'd be funny if it's a build a vehicle and the parts come packed in with other small vehicles.
