One somewhat lesser known series you might want to look up is 'Night Gallery' also by Rod Sterling; and I think has ONLY ever been Homaged in Simpsons and maybe Tiny Toon Adventures. It's got some really good stuff in there, but its been years since I seen any of it.
I think Futurama did a better job at this in the recent "Zapp gets Cancelled" episode.
Still a very off putting society, but in a way that's not just one long gross-out gag.
I feel like a real one would have a unique head, much like every that shared Bumblebee's mold. Only the seekers shared the same head, and that's becuase they were clones.
So while watching this, a thought came to me about Fang; He should be a regular Antagonist for Knuckles seeing as he's a treasure hunter and the Master Emerald would be a major treasure.. Also probably have connections to Rogue in a modern continuty since their in a similar line of work.

I rather liked this episode for how akward it was toward Misty, and I like the old unicorn. I can tell from the story that she's telling them what they want to hear... just not how they want to hear it.
There's been plenty of Black Convoy all the way back to G1. And while BW might have had the first not-good Black Convoy/Prime/Primal; CR Black Convoy/RiD Scourge is still the one that left the biggest mark and really codified the whole thing. Most Nemesis Primes since then have had his colors in...
