Same. I do miss "the hunt" as it was a fun way to get out of the office and kill time during my lunch hour back when that was a thing I had. Now I can't count on ever seeing any particular thing in stores. I'll always see SOMETHING, but you never know what will actually make it onto the...
I don't really see this as Anti-Consumer in any way. If the Core Class is going away, they had to find something to pack it in with. These being Studio Series figures, they were going to be with someone from the movie. Blaster would make more sense, but since that's a voyager that would make...
Yeah, I think a lot of toymakers underestimate how much a kid and their parents enjoy being able to buy one package that contains everything you need to start an adventure.
Right? he was the one out of the pack that I was absolutely going to get rid of. Wheeljack I was undecided on which version I wanted to keep, but Trailbreaker was already packing his bags. Then this thing happened and I'm out another 20 bucks.
Damn, I don't buy many Toyhax sticker sets, but this one got me. They made stickers to turn any of the Autobot 5 Pack into new characters, and this one in particular was an insta-buy:
Stickers and a new head to turn my extra Trailbreaker into the V.E.N.O.M. Jackhammer! The new helmet even...
I will miss the Core Class. I've loved having tinier versions of characters ever since they first introduced Legends of Cybertron back in the day. It's nice to have a smaller scale set of figures to go with Titans or what have you.
For characters that are supposed to be small, it sounds...
Thank you very much! This is all a lot of good info. I did look into it, and ours is a PS3 "Slim", so it will play PS1 games, but not PS2. Luckily, it seems like these games are old enough that the prices for used ones are pretty darn reasonable. That's the advantage of being 15+ years...
This contributes nothing to the conversation, but I just wanted to say that I will never not enjoy someone referring to something unusably small as "for ants."
Actually my wife probably won't use it much if any. The "no scary games" is her mandate for the kiddo.
Thank you for the info! I guess I should ask, too, is Transformers: Devastation any good? It LOOKS good, style-wise, but is it a fun game?
Long story short, my 14 year old son bought a PS3 at a garage sale. We've never been a gaming family, so the newest system we had in the house previously was a N64. It came with 3 sports games, but honestly none of us are sports people at all. Looking for some good game recommendations, but...
Not sure what I was thinking there. Forgot for a moment that we were talking about characters that never had a toy, not just ones that needed an update.
Huh! By golly you're right. I never noticed the asymmetrical shoulders before, but I guess the "flat" one having the Decepticon symbol on it made it less noticeable?
