The impression I got was just that that particular wookiee is a mean drunk, and the whole bit about his arena fighting past was just an attempt to talk him down by appealing to his ego. But I'm fulling willing to accept that I misinterpreted the scene entirely.
If no one else is going to say it, I am.
Louie Anderson and Meatloaf were the same person. Think about it. Have you ever seen them in the same room together?
To be fair, even the Wiki refers to all Seeker arm guns as null rays. From the "Null Ray" article:
But you are right. Really, only Starscream's should be referred to as such. It's one of those "Kleenex" vs. "Facial Tissue" things.
.
I've always figured that Q saw Humanity in general, and especially Picard, as "pets" to some extant. He does actually have our best interests in mind, though his methods are just as much for his own amusement as our benefit.
I'd be up for Autobot Pretenders, too. As a kid, the two "humanoid" Pretenders I had were Iguanus and Grounbreaker, so I'm pretty partial to them. Not sure the color layout would work for Groundbreaker, unfortunately. Have to stick with one whose outer shell and inner robot were similarly...
They need to bring back intermissions! Let the movie makers decide where they go so they don't interrupt the flow too badly. Especially for your 3+ hour epics like Lord of the Rings.
Seen it pointed out that Core Rodimus's's's's package art shows how Skywarp's slingshot and Iguanus's gun combine with Rodimus's sword to make a.....sword with a longer handle?
Would definitely rather have the null rays and the G1 Iguanus gun.
Oh man, that Iguanus.
But...what is that thing that Skywarp has instead of his null rays?
Edit: Realizing now that Inguanus has a similar but slightly different gun thingy. Must have something to do with the new "energon part" play pattern, but damned if I can figure out what it is.
