    The new Transformers Deal Thread

I had to jump on the Ferak deal. I originally was not going to get him, but I love the Cyclonus mold and the redeco is very nice.

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

TFC Hercules was a very good set - for it's day and time. I went in on it and overall, was impressed. He remained in my display for years, until Takara's Devvy overtook him and I sold him off. He was one of the first to market though, and other companies have done other things since his...

Trans Formers 40 - When Did You Start Watching Trans Formers

I'm July '76. I was a very interested day-oner for Transformers. Really hit their stride in Season 2 and I held on for the rest of the series. I've seen each subsequent series in real time, up through Animated (at which point my interest in the fiction was waning). I've heard that Animated...

40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

I'm not on Facebook but I can picture it now, and it's glorious!

What to do with upgraded parts?

100% this. I am in the same situation, and I just keep the original parts in the event that I want/need to sell the figure(s) in the future. Plus, I usually shy away from upgrade sets that make returning the figure to factory specs too difficult (a la pushing out pins, cutting things, etc.)...

    The new Transformers Deal Thread

The crossovers have mostly been kinda fun. I've bought each one except the Kup/Sgt. Slaughter, which I have no interest in. They're fiddly, but they are a complete love letter to my childhood, so I could not pass them up. $25 is an incredible value for the Soundwave set, who IMO, is among the...

    The new Transformers Deal Thread

Oh, Transquito has gone beyond peg warming. He's Trans-cended (see what I did there?) the terrestrial peg and has merged his spark with the store, knowing, seeing, and lording over all matters retail.

    The new Transformers Deal Thread

There's an old legend round my parts, says K9 never really goes away. He just keeps on peg warmin' out there for us sinners. 🤠

Yep, I spent a lot of time on BWTF too. I recall some pretty good times on that board, but I am glad to have made it over to the Allspark.

I lurked for a few years before officially joining, but this place has remained my internet home since 1999. I will agree that the sense of community here is much stronger than anything I have experienced on other sites (I'm not active on social media by choice). I still remember the banner on...

    Studio Series discussion

True, and I am glad that something new is available for those who couldn't get it back then. I've kept mine on display for many years and the way that he looks next to Siege Omega Supreme is chef's kiss, IMO :)

    Studio Series discussion

In the theater of my mind, Devastator (and Predaking) have always just been bigger than the average, Scramble City-style combiners. I can blame this on all sorts of varying portrayals in the TF media over the years, but it's just how things have crystallized for me. I've expressed my love for...

I preordered the two available, but I maintain my current level of confusion. If someone knows whether these are truly new molds, or just "sized down and tweaked a bit", I would be grateful.

Alright, so I'm still not sure what I'm looking at here. I have UW Devvy and absolutely love him, warts and all, size and all. This...appears to be that but kinda scaled down? But also a little different? I mean, Scrapper looks almost exactly the same. Other than it being smaller and...

On Gimmicks and Transformers: What works?

Yeah, in all honesty, I am a sucker for a well-designed, intuitive transformation. I don't care if it has to "cheat" to get there (i.e. removal of some parts, fake vehicle chest, etc.), as long as it is enjoyable to transform. I prioritize that first and foremost, and I am good with most any...

    Super 7: Ultimates, ReAction, etc

I don't generally buy the Super 7 stuff but I have made exceptions for the original release Unicron, the Japanese/Prototype color version, and will probably pick this one up as well.

Yeah, it's a passable Galvatron but I still believe that he can be done much better. Plus, that mold has gotten a workout. I don't recall each of the permutations, but I know that it was available in two of the main lines and at least twice in the specialty, "Selects/What-have-you" lines (toy...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I just like the idea of lil' dudes interacting with bigger dudes. Call 'em what you will, but the concept is cool and the play patterns are fun.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

You all are just waxing nostalgic - Titans Return sucked eggs!!! Just kidding, it was an epic toy line and a definite high-water mark for the brand. Just give me a Fort Max with better alt modes, and I'm good.

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: Wave 1 Box Art

I'm reasonably interested in the idea of a Titan Star Convoy. Sure, it'd be another Prime, but it's a design that hasn't reached saturation point yet. He's always been a curiosity to me, and I would at least like to see what the current team could do at that price point.
