Sorta! Funny enough MP01's Matrix has trouble fitting in the hands of Studio Series Optimus because his big articulated finger slab gets in the way of a proper grip! Since his fingers lack the natural "curl" something like Alternators or modern MP cars have, it's not as easy to fake it either...
Something just hit with Star Convoy the moment I saw him that just "hit" better as the big upgrade to G1 Prime. Like I love Powermaster, don't get me wrong, but Star Convoy just hits the marks more on what I imagine "Optimus Prime but better than ever". Maybe it's the sweeping lines and more...
Presumably since Takara already released an Ironhide deco of the mold, but it was more G1 color based instead of the "everything in one pot for Bay Influenced Stew" that the original concept design was.
Star Convoy reminds me I need to pick up that expensive Reprolabels set for the vintage/reissue, because the actual sticker sheet on the reissue get all speckled over time even MISB. I assume the Reprolabels won't have the same issue, anyway.

I love that more than one stock photo is dedicated to "you can put him in G1 mode and pretend the articulation isn't there". Also that they decided to include alternate hands to give the toy its proper massive mittens.
