Grimlock's dinosaur front half looks like it fused the little T-rex arms with chonky Dinobot legs and he is rather surprised by this.

I agree with Exatron that I think the main problem is the middle portion is shorter than it should be, and the area where it's missing (red line below) got 'given' to the back end, making it longer than it should be. If the middle chunk was as big as the yellow line it would look a lot better...

On the other hand, in order to be the torso, Razorclaw is twice as tall as everyone else and wearing a Predaking-sized diaper. That combined form does look pretty great though, and for most people I bet that's really the ultimate factor. It's the Macross-TF crossover as shown off here.

Jim Lee just did a signing at my LCS and I was able to get a few signatures, including on Transformers #53 and #67!

Yeah the new one looks a lot more like Optimus but just swapping the red for Decepticon purple, plus some yellow-greenish highlights. The original scheme with the magneta, bluish-grey, and black looks so much better IMO.
