I’m still ordering the Acolyte figures. Excited about having Trinity in Star Wars form. And Sol, Yord, and Jecki, I quite liked. I could have watched a few more episodes of them doing Jedi shenanigans.

Yeah, I remember the throat punch of the Doctor and his holographic family. I haven’t done a Next Gen/DS9/Voyager re-watch in years. I figure it’s about time.

I wish Ncuti would have gotten a “full” season instead of just 8 episodes, and I think the finale suffered somewhat for it. His speech felt Capaldi-esque during his final showdown with Sutekh. I love him as the Doctor. I’ll happily watch another season of this Doctor/companion match up.

Without going into spoilers for the first of the season finale two-parter—the episode this big bad first appeared in is on Tubi. (And Tubi has the benefit of being free.) I liked the reveal; I liked the team Unit has assembled (especially the kid!); and I’m curious how this is going to be resolved.

Pretty sure I heard an orchestral version of “Poker Face” as well. The music budget for this episode must have been impressive.

Agreed. Three more episodes left in this season. I would hope they should be Doctor-heavy. Based on the writers for those episodes, my guess is next week’s episode does not lead directly into the two-part season finale, the same way RTD finished Tennant’s first two seasons.
