My Dinoking arrived today. Nice set as the Dinoforce, but glad I passed on the Dinobot versions... 8^) I seem to have gotten a bum version of Kakuryu, though. He's got two left rear legs (so the foot on the right is facing backwards), and is missing the "tail gun" that attaches to the combiner...

Slipsteam is okay in my book. An actual ER Starscream retool would have been better, but I don't have a version of her yet, so this will be her first appearance in my collection/world. Not fond of that Quake, though. I was really hoping he'd be a new mold. One of my favorite things about G1...

I'm splurging on Bumblebee and Cliffjumper from this, but only because I have a small sub-collection of the G1 BB/CJ design figures, and these would be a crowning addition.

I call him Blackguard. Still kinda on-the-nose, but I feel like it gives him a bit of personality...

I do have a thing in my world to explain characters "upgrading" from their G1 toys to modern remakes. But, usually, when I switch from one modern remake to another, I just retcon their upgrade directly to the new one...

I don't really have a ranked list, just kind-of a jumble of general favorites... The one I can think of off-hand is the intro tho TF:TM. Unicron eating Lithone. Not only is the whole "impending doom to a thriving planet" thing set up really well, but the music is some of my favorite music ever.

I do that with my Classics Cliffjumper and a 2010 "Brake-Neck" to represent the Mini-Spy my original Cliffjumper came with.

Yeah, I think I'm all in on these. I'll need to come up with new names for G2 Jazz and Grimlock, but I can manage that. 8^) Glad to see Toxitron. I couldn't figure out a niche in my collection/world for either of the previous versions of the mold, but kept hearing good things about them, so I'm...

My Crankcase, Pointblank, and Skullgrin are shipping soon too, along with TM2 Megatron and the Voyagers. Had to cancel my Galaxy Shuttle preorder since I won't have room in my budget because of things shipping early...

After seeing something on Twitter about unused club concepts, the GS Nightprowler that just arrived for me is going to be a new form for Catilla, blending his inner robot's color scheme (roughly) with the synthetic-organic covering of his former shell.

I have the same plan. I'm going to call him General Tyrannicon, after the character from the Aligned novel.

Personally, I would have preferred it to be a new character, but still looks pretty cool. Not sure it's $90 cool, but I put in a preorder. I can always cancel it later...
