I mean, I'd rather get new continuity take on the Transformers than sequels, especially since RID was very self-contained and left no meaningful loose ends.
I choose to believe that as his normal counterpart is a former nobody rebuilt into a supersoldier named after a location, Shattered Glass Tarn is just Captain America.
Decepticon Avenging Division, Assemble!
Describing it as 'testing the waters' seems weird when the Rescue Bots are way more popular than the Playskool GoBots. But I love the ideas regardless, tough I feel like Leader-1 ought to be there too, maybe a Seeker retool.
I still think that's it's dumb to apply to that to Unicron, one of the characters who most famously has two completely different origin stories. Marvel Unicron could have easily been the same as Dreamwave Armada Unicron without the retcon of there being only one of him in the entire multiverse.
Meh, the Singularity stuff was just an unnecessary and confusing on using them, and I feel like it was just there to make them 'more special' without any thoughts put in about how to handle it.
I'm ready for all the weird references and I refuse to believe this won't be tied to the Japanese cartoon continuity. Also, of course Sakamoto stuck Nightstick in a race queen outfit.
Well, clearly, Cyberverse should be the Pinus cluster because it uses 'Evergreen' designs. My personal philosophy is that if you're going to make up a name, you make as well use hokey puns. And I guess Botbots can be Commerx from commercium because it centers around a mall.
I'm gonna quote Vector Prime there: "Ultimately, it is important to remember that these are just labels, of no particular import... not worth devoting your mental energies to."
Continuity Families are a method made by fans to organize things in the Transformers brand based on their franchises...
I'm gonna agree with everybody and say that I like everything I'm seeing so far, except Optimus' face. Like, it makes me want to make jokes about how Horsehead finally got his TV debut.
