It's that time of year again, where we look back to see if anything's gaining on us.

Thanks to the forum crash, this year'll be a little sparse, but my habit of saving these in a text file finally paid off:

First, some ghosts from the AllSpark That Was:

Whoa, that's cold.
You scream, EYE scream!

From the election week thread: (Paladin)
Kevin Seefried has been identified as the middle-aged goateed man who was photographed carrying a huge and historically racist confederate flag as he marched uninvited around the halls of Congress on Jan. 6. He surrendered to authorities in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, along with his son, Hunter Seefried, according to the Department of Justice. https://www.vice.com/en/article/bvx...ag-in-the-capitol-has-predictably-surrendered

a true Confederate to the end- surrendering after loudly & violently accomplishing nothing.

You have to admit, it looks bad that he keeps getting killed, but for most people, being assassinated in office would be the end of a political career. Not Harrison. Most people don't have the resolve to ride that out and move past it the first time, let alone the second. You know, sometimes what really makes the difference in a statesperson isn't their strengths, but how they handle their weaknesses, like being repeatedly shot dead, and Harrison is a real story of overcoming.

From the Random Image thread: (Nutjob)
I was three. I was too young to grasp what had happened when it first happened, but as I grew and became cognizant I walked amongst the carnage and the detritus, the blasted hellscape of what once was, the bones of a civilization growing strong and proud suddenly laid low and snuffed out.

I watched the greatest mind I have ever known scrabble for broken scraps, tearing into their plastic and woodgrain corpses before their circuits had grown cold, first to cobble together some semblance of What Was, but then...

Then...

Then he carved them up, learning not just what they told us they could do, but what they were TRULY capable of.

I saw machines control other machines, BUILD other machines, Gandalf!

And when those games were too simple for him, he took the bones of that old world, and through the veins of copper that strangle this planet, he made himself a Palantir, a seeing box that ridicules the seeing stones of old! Across lands, across water, words and images from afar were sent back and forth, ages before learned men made them for the common folk!

He was there, at the death of an old age, and from its bones, he dipped his fingers in the founding of a NEW WORLD, one that our feeble minds could not possibly comprehend its majesty... Or its horrors.

I was there, Gandalf.

And before I could comprehend what that wizard had done

He was dead in the cold, cold ground

Killed by his own magnificent brain.

Red Wing was the *only* Red Cars exclusive before now wasnt he?

The rest were just regular exclusives.
RID Side Burn is a Red Cars exclusive.

Okay, now we're into the new era, so the formatting should work better:

From the Kingdom thread:
I swear he looks like he's holding a concert:
"Hellooooo KAON! Are you ready to ROCK?!"

Similarly: Kingdom thread:
I'm curious what Puffer would be like. He's a nerdy collector merged with a winey pessimist. He should do great on the internet. :p

And again:
On the pulse site:

"Autobot Puffer comes with 2 blaster accessories and features a fun fan nod (insert nod here)."

Should've edited the entry one more time, or, we're supposed to nod?

(Cue up a Night at the Roxbury gif...)

From the GOP thread:
The whole Let's Go Brandon joke is so immature, Gaetz wants to date it.

From the Buzzworthy thread:
In my mind Buzzworthy just sounds so much like an English Butler name that I assume the entire Buzzworthy universe, whatever that is, is adjacent to the Doctor Who universe. Thus, everyone on that Cybertron speaks with a British accent.

From the Christmas thread:
Do I look like I worry about safety?

We still need people in hazmat suits to go in and sterilize the place.
[Fnu Aw]That place is a horror beyond science. We need Van Helsing.
[Copper Bezel]Surely we can at least double up and give Van Helsing the hazmat suit.

What's the actual dividing line when I can now say an animal has been domesticated?

[Guardian Prime]Domesticated: Wild animal eats from your hand.

Undomesticated: Wild animal eats your hand.
Just realized how this seems to imply that I can escape death.

I mean, you can escape Death, but he's a persistent bugger. Always finds you again sooner or later.
