Facebook post embedding

Is there currently a functioning way to embed Facebook posts?

The embed iFrame code that Facebook provides doesn't seem to work, and posting the permalink into the media embed box doesn't work either.

I suppose it doesn't want to show the specific content but it links to a post when I share the link.

I'll try it this way. If it's the way the forums are designed there's not a lot I can do to change it without customizing code.
