Flight stand recommendation: SS86 Scourge + Kingdom Cyclonus

Title says it all: I have a Unicron-based display that I'd like to have Scourge & Cyclonus both in flight mode on some kind of stand. I was going to buy these:


But I don't know whether they'd work. I've seen a few random reviews online where people have them on stands, but am not sure how they're attaching them or what kind they're using.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

They're rather thin and lightweight, you sometimes have to tighten the screws to get them to stay, and then moving the top joint with a tight screw can snap off the thin plastic peg (I have replaced quite a few of mine with a small nail covered in acrylic polish, but most people don't want to go that far with a dremel). I have used both the Pulse exclusive ones (very thick, nice spring-loaded clamp, but the arm length is not what I like) and also the Tamahashi 'act humanoid' stages (more flexible but thinner) and while any of them will work, just be cautious as that clear plastic WILL snap on you if stressed.

Is the link below a knockoff version just as good for the Tamashii Act 5, or was that a link for modern light deluxe figures as you mentioned?
