So this kid came into my store today and his Mom said that he had bought 1 of the 2 BW Alligator TF we had
I was like thats cool I turned to the kid his name is Megatron BTW
Kid: Is he a bad guy or good guy?
Me; he is a Predicon a bad guy
Mom: do you have any other of thoses Transformers?
Me: Yes we have this one BW Razorbeast and i showed him this $5 Razorbeast we had
After talking to the mom and her friend some more bout other toys like Biker Mice the subject turned back to Transformers
the kid noticed MP01 on the shelf so I showed him MP01 an I showed him how the original Prime looked in 84 by showing the TF guide book we have at work by Mark Bellom during this time he mom had bought the Razorbeast and he was transforming him a lot as I was showing his mom where she could buy MP01
As the coversation was wraping up the kid looked at me with this look and said that Razorbeast was stuck so I took a look in fact razorbeast was broken at the pin to his head the kid had pulled to hard and broke him at the neck his mom was like thats ok we can glue him back... me knowing full well that the Razorbeast was toast
They where on the way out the door when I stopped thim I said
I know its not Razorbeast but it still a transformer and I gave him a McDs Transmetal BA from a happy meal and his little sister the og BW Panther version his mom tried to stop me for giveing way TFs but i refused to let the kid leave my store with a broke TF so they waked out grateful

Well after about 10 min had past they walked back into the store and the kid and mom came up and the mom said he wants you to have this
And puts on the counter an old school Chevron Techron cars that talked in thoses commercials I was trying to refuse the gift but it was her turn to deny me
BUT its my store and no one 1 ups me dang it!!!
I was like well he can have this! and I gave him a TM Terrorsaur it was missing the little head fin but was otherwise in great shape
both there jaws hit the floor they where amazed at the turn of events

So a broken Razorbeast led to a deal that led to kid netting 2 two transformers 3 if you count his little sisters as well
and me a Techron car

Feel good story?!?

You monster. You've just sent this poor innocent child, and possibly his sister as well, down the path towards certain financial ruin.

Sure, it's starts out fun, the occasional McDonald's Happy Meal Transformer. Maybe a Cyberverse toy or two. Next thing you know, you're stealing money from your Grandmother's purse to try to buy Diaclone!

Scrolled down the titles to find a fitting thread.

Could be a feel good story but feels semi bad for me, haha

I was at a Rise of the Beasts event and there was a trivia contest. Kids and parents joined and I figured I'd join for fun but I really wanted the kids to have fun so I wasn't really out to win. It was a multiple choice contest where players line up to which answer they think is right.

((First question was what was Optimus Prime's original name. They wouldn't know Orion Pax! The other answers were Commander-1 (hahaha) and Optimus Optimal)).

The thing was, the host was asking if we were Autobots or Decepticons and who our favorite bots where. To be different, I said I was a Decepticon and my fave was Soundwave and that became a running joke cuz everyone was saying Bumblebee cuz parents did know and kids were too shy.

So anyway, players were getting eliminated until it was me and two kids and adults. Last question was easy (Transformers fuel was Allsparks, Gasoline or Energon) and I let the two kids win.

But the host actually set aside a authentics Soundwave for me cuz the kids were actually following my answers. So when the two kids won, I was surprised to see one get awarded the Soundwave.

Darn it! I don't have that authentics Soundwave! Haha. Yeeeeah, I wanted the kids to have fun and to get the prizes but, darn it! It would have been a cool end of my stage running joke for me to win my favorite Decepticon, darn darn, haha. The people behind the scenes asked why I made it obvious that I threw the game, haha.

Also, I think one of the helpers had a crush on me, haha

Yeah, my roommate blames me for getting him addicted. When I moved in I noticed he had a rather small collection of TFs (less then 20), but the biggest thing I noticed was his Optimus Prime. It was that generations dlx 2pk with the crap spinny gimmick. So for his birthday I decided he should have a good Optimus Prime, so I got him the Siege version then noticed they had a sale so decided to also get him Siege Megatron as well to give him both leaders. Several years later and he now has several hundred, inculding titans.

Kids can surprise us. I was once in a Wal-mart during Energon, and a mother and her ten-year-or-so old son were looking at the black Unicron, and the kid says "That's not what he looked like in the movie!"

At the time the only movie was the original, before this kid was ever born, so I was surprised, so I said I had one that was orange, Unicron toys came in two different colors, and I took one of the Armada colored ones off the higher shelf to show him. He said "That's him!" and they put it in the cart.

I realized years later that kid is probably a G1er posting angry notes on the internet and I started it...
