Aw hug. I really ******* want this. I was really hoping for RiD Megatron just to have something I'm not that interested in.

I *think* he has a combiner hand visible there? Not sure.

Interesting designs, that's for sure...some obvious shared parts between limbs, but that also means less tooling costs. Rather simple transformations, but THAT means less tiny struts to potentially break, and easier conversion and likely better stability in all modes (a lot of 'super complex' 3rd party combiners suffer under their own weight due to all the joints). And it does everything the original did and more.

This ALMOST compensates for my disappointment that it wasn't my guess of a new-character Deception leaky kitchen sink named Leak-or who is constantly leaking pictures to the internet, with his soon to be famous battle cry, "I NEED TO TAKE A LEAK!"

...I just thought it MIGHT be a possibility...it would have been fitting for the fandom...

Not sure if he can replace a Limb, but 75% sure he transforms. I can make out his arms, with folding fists, feet, and chest.

I'd bet he can. The obvious-robot-legs under the helicopter look like they're designed to also be a forearm.

Yeah, comparing him to Hellbat, yeah I think your right since both arms have that "chunky" look that is shared by Deathcobra "canon?" Mode

What's Deathcobra doing in the picture, anyway? A shoulder cannon? Deathcobra's cannon mode is now canon? Or is Liokaiser's shoulder just a helipad to show how 'big' he is?

Just continuing the Transformers tradition of using the corpses of your acquaintances as weapons.

EDIT: I am glad that they found a way to get him into the combined mode. I love that they included him, especially if he can be an alternate arm, but it's icing on the cake that he can be displayed as part of the combiner instead of just standing off to the side.

So Deathcobra is dead. And he has a cobra! At last, someone lives up to their name!

The comic just writes itself.
Deathcobra: My cobra is dead.
Killbison: I killed my bison myself.
Eaglekiller: I'm up on federal charges...

But seriously, it's NOT bad, though $300 is a lot. Given that I've gotten and will get almost nothing else this year, though...

Non-Liokaiser related, that Train Optimus Prime will definitely drive my nephew bananas (he's a huge train kid) even if he's never heard of Hearts of Steel.

Where do his hips and upper legs come from, though? No mention of the extra parts, and they don't seem to be a trailer, but I also don't see them in the components?

Edit: Never mind, they're some sort of giant cargo pod or something on top of the dune buggy.

So DeathCobra is Serpentor when he DIDN'T 'arise', got it...

This looks very impressive. Very pricey, but very cool. And Hellbat is now called… Ellbat?

Also, DeathCobra can definitely transform.

Not backing right away. The individual bots look much like they belong to a kiddie line (like Cyberverse). I looked forward for Liokaiser, but this is a bit of a disappointment except the combined mode.

Couldn't afford Unicorn (both $$$ and the space for it, but wish I could), but I backed VS & Deathsaurus. Skipped Omega Prime because I don't like the design, but at least I can see the worth of it for those that like it, packed with play features. This Liokaiser... the $300 math feels way off, like charging Voyagers for Deluxes, on top of the HasLab premium. With exchange rate for the Loonie in historic low territory, it stings even more in the pocket book. Need some time to process.

These guys are closer to Voyagers then Deluxes.

It's North of $500CAD (now there's HasLab Surcharge?) at checkout. That's a little shy of 7 Leaders at MSRP. Still hard to square the math. I just don't feel it like I did VS & Deathsaurus.
