Have you ever wanted to go shopping in a store that's nothing but wall-to-wall Transformers? Well, now you can!

If you live in London, that is.

Recently, the first official stand-alone Transformers store in the world had a soft-opening at Battersea Power Station, timed to perfectly coincide with the 40th anniversary of the brand. From the Battersea Power Station website:

Dive into hands-on experiences with the iconic characters loved by millions, and explore a wide range of Transformers merchandise, from films and comics to toys and collectibles—all under one roof.

Immerse yourself in the expansive Transformers universe with designated areas showcasing its incredible history. Don’t miss the stunning graffiti mural by MurWalls, featuring Transformers alongside Battersea Power Station. Plus, grab your exclusive, limited-edition cover of Skybound Entertainment’s award-winning Transformers comics, only available here.

Over on YouTube, Toys are Russ has made a visit, and provided a couple of videos to give us a better idea of what the store, well, has in store for its guests. First is a full walk-around of the newly-opened establishment:

And in this second video, Russ goes into more detail about the things he found out about the store, what they'll be carrying, the opening, a dance sequence featuring five Robosen figures, and more!

So, are you planning to roll out for London to check out the store? Or are you hoping that one will transform a vacant store front in your neck of the woods?

Not a Londoner. Looks like it's targeted to children & casual tourists only. Only spent a week there for vacation, and I was nowhere near that area (mostly stuck to sightseeing spots between Westminster to Tower Bridges) and places on the North side of the Thames (did visit Tate Modern to Borough Market on the South side though) and the palaces. Is the Battersea area often visited by tourists? The Park & Zoo next to the mall do attract all kinds of tourists, local parents & their kids I guess. Hope it makes good profits and sustainable as an on-going business concern. We got TF: The Ride at a few Universal Studios all over the world, Hong Kong still got The Ark (TF theme restaurant & mini-stores), and we have this new one at Battersea. That's certainly a bit of happy news amid a sea (sorry for the pun) of Doom & Gloom news coming from Hasbro & Paramount's corporate (and legal) troubles.
