Toys and Figurines In-hand pics of Studio Series 116 VW Bumblebee 2.0

Weibo user @NOTRAB offers a look at another upcoming figure in the Studio Series redo of VW Beetle mode Bumblebee from the 2018 Bumblebee solo movie.

Studio Series figure 116 features some notable differences, chief among them new ways to arrange the car kibble on the back of the robot mode to more closely approximate the door-wing-less robot mode from the movie. (Just don't turn him around, maybe?)

I like him and will probably get him. The "wings" never bothered me....the proportions on this is what really wins me over. The previous Bee seemed to tall and lanky.

Slapping down the design team members for speaking the truth through fear and intimadation.

Back to the figure. It's nicer, sure but not enough to PO and pay MSRP for especially my main problem with the OG was the alt mode's tabbing & clear plastic issues, this one looks even worse at those for the folding down wings.

The battle mask is my default for all movie-verse Bees. I'm not even sure this new version got that.
