Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Shaman King, Card Captor Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Escaflowne all had entire sites specifically about covering the changes made by their TV dubs...and the only reason Pokemon didn't was because one of the larger general-purpose sites already covered it.
*pours one out for DBZ Uncensored*
I also disagree with the claim that adding entire new concepts like "Phase six" or "the Allspark" into Japanese G1 is somehow a smaller change than merely changing Slag's name (which never has and probably never will be retroactively applied to newer releases of older media anyway).
Given the nature of the reason behind the change from Slag to Slug (as stupid as I may find it to be), I can see why Hasbro wouldn't want to use the old name any further, even on "older" product.

I think he’s a smidge too large to use in Generations.

A little taller than Deluxe Cheetor if I’m guesstimating correctly.

….. yeah, me too. Assuming he’s not prohibitively expensive.
MSRP of ¥16,500, around $105 USD. Early bird preorders at sites like Amazon.co.jp and Amiami price it closer to ¥13,800, or around $83 before shipping fees.

He looks damn good with those other BW MPs. For those that went the MP route, it is cool that you get to finish out the main cast.

Well, this is a surprise. Hasbro Pulse put up their order page for this figure, and they didn't call it "Rattrap". They've actually kept the Japanese name as is, calling the figure Transformers MPG-15 Cybertron Rattle

So, Super Ginrai is in hand and... doesn't really feel worth how expensive he was? It's very much like a mainline toy with a few bits of niceness, the cab torso transformation is weirdly fussy, and the arms are just mostly just friction joints so nothing to justify the lack of compression in alt mode.

It's nice to have something that feels like Powermaster Prime on my shelf, and if he'd been half the price I'd feel very happy with it, but if I look at Fans Toys Margh next to it he feels significantly less well made for even more money.

You've just described how I feel about Takara's pricing for most of their TFs.
