Thought I might as well celebrate Transformers Day, our new annual secular holiday!
And next year, we can celebrate with our new pantheon of TF demi-gods!
If they all evolved from naturally occuring pulleys and gears, why do we still have pulleys and gears?
some pulleys and gears remained pulleys and gears and continued to reproduces as pulleys and gears, because they remained in an evolutionary niche where they did not require adaptation to be successful. However there was specialization, that's why you have gears with varying teeth count and shape, as well pulleys that have ropes and or chains.... etc.
How fitting I found one of my grails on Transformers Day.

He does suffer from it, but my copy is, thankfully, intact. For now.
But I did cringe transforming him. Gonna have to be extra careful with him.
