2001 was an interesting year in Transformers, with the series Car Robots being adapted into Transformers: Robots in Disguise, a harbinger for the 2002 Transformers anime resurgence that would become the Unicron Trilogy. Among the more memorable characters from this upbeat series was the Predacon Sky-Byte, voiced by the dynamic Peter Spellos.

This year, Peter Spellos has been battling stage 3 pancreatic cancer with the help of a supportive community.

Very sad news this weekend with word that Sky-Byte voice actor Peter Spellos has passed. He was 69 years old and dealing with cancer. He has a long career, starring as an actor and voice actor in many projects going back to the 70's. We of course celebrate him for his work as the lovable...
