It kind of looks like that's where his knee would be on his cartoon model:

Yeah the mid-truckbed break seems to be intentionally there as a means to give him knees but I dunno, we’ve been conditioned to see skinny thighs and bulky shins

Huh. Is that really where they decided to put Long Haul's knee? Granted, putting it where it looks like it should go would mean a knee that bends just underneath his waist but I kind of expected better between the Commander pricepoint and the combining being outsourced.

That’s good to know. I’m iffy on the set so far and hugged up knees isn’t going to help one bit.

The shade of purple they're using REALLY doesn't like being photographed (I find a lot of the blues & purples they've been using lately tend to shift a lot with lighting). Hopefully these latest photos are more accurate to final toy.
