It's a virtual fanfic continuation of the G1 cartoon. Three fanfiction episodes are posted so far (99-101). More to come, mainly three right now that're done by another writer, and I need to finish reading, code, and then post them on the site's Episode Guide page with the rest. Episode list so far has been worked out, but new episodes can be made to fit between any of them. New writers are welcome to join, just need to write three full pages of an episode (script or prose, as long as it's an "episode"), a detailed summary of the rest, then detailed summaries of other episodes you'd like to do. No guarantee you'll be able to do all that you want from your submissions after you join, as it might contradict what's already planned, but like I said, you can do your stuff that fits between what's currently-planned. In terms of character usage, for overall during VS4 episode writing:
First priority: All the NEW toy-characters of the current season (1987) need the most development and usage to make them the next great, beloved characters.
Second priority: The current year (1987) re-releases, continue featuring them, but to a somewhat lesser-degree.
Last priority: Out-of-production toys by the year (1987), used the least. This is something the actual show did almost not at all, but I'm changing that as we'd all like to still use the old characters some.
Aside from episode-writing, we also need art help, mainly-meaning Toei-animation-looking profile-art for the Character Guide page; for the listed Autobots and Decepticons who still don't have it. Some already do, like the Aerialbots, Metroplex, Autobot Mini-Cassettes, Protectobots, Rodimus Prime, Sky Lynx, etc. This list, aside from original non-toy characters, is made up from the G1 1987 toy-catalog and pack-in material list.
Finally, website-design for the site is in desperate need, for fixing all the broken page links on each page, redoing the submissions page some, and anything else that needs fixing.
Also looking to do a Machine Wars: Transformers: Virtual Mini-Series (by Mainframe Entertainment) project sometime in the future. Just need help setting up the site and contributions to writing the episodes. Already have developed a story-treatment, and found someone who made the mini-series' opening sequence and closing credits music files. Will script the supposed animations for them when the time comes, after the site is done first, at least. Also found a fan-artist who does great CGI art, and will be used for the MW Character Guide page's profile-art.
For both projects: They need to sound like they were made at the time they would have been (1987 and 1997, respectively) so they still sound like genuine G1 and MW cartoon stories.
Thank you!
