Third-Party Thrills from TFcon LA 2024

Got an itch for a certain type of converting robotic action figure that certain Fortune 500 companies (who will remain nameless) are failing to scratch? Well, that’s where the wide world of third-party figures comes in, and The Chosen Prime’s sponsored panel at the recent TFcon LA 2024 was chock-full of them!

We can’t run down everything from everyone here (unless you don’t mind us getting back to this post until a few weeks from now), but here are a few highlights taken from the above video to help whet your appetite for more:

We’ve got all sorts of stuff to look forward to, including the not-Transformers: The Ultimate Guide version of not-Primus, not-Beast Wars Megatron, toon-shaded not-Grimlock, not-Fallen, not-Leozack and not-Liokaiser, not-Superion, not-Hot Spot, not-Ironhide sporting an optional all-red head (just like he didn’t do in the not-comic books from not-Marvel), not-Nemesis Prime (complete with the trailer that the original [actually] lacked), and a peek at a large group of ships that we’re fairly certain is not Tidal Wave.

Oh, and two guys who pretty much are the two guys from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, because we all know certain people in certain places are probably never touching those two again.
