I'm having to adjust to seeing a lean, lanky Sideways, but it does my heart good to see that design.
Now show me Excellion, damn it. The tiny edge of frame bits tease me. (Are he and Excellion just regular AOTP Deluxes? Not from a capsule or whatever? Praise be.)
That Carnivac/Fisitron 2-pack is BOUGHT. Perceptor and friends also, but slower.

I like Sideways. Would like a Ratbat repaint of that better since I loved the pink version of the mold that came with the helicopter only Springer.
Might get the Combaticons. Frame combiner system sucks but Onslaught’s vehicle mode actually allows for it and it solves the problem of Bruticus’ colors being so vastly different from Onslaught’s.
The Primes are okay. Not bad, pretty good actually. I just don’t care about their characters. Onyx changing from claws to hooves and popping out some new legs is a neat touch but it’s overall a variation of the “stand beast up and swap heads” transformation and the claws are pretty obviously open hands. Alchemist does his transformation into a boxy truck well. On the fence.

Excellion has yellow wings not blue ones like the original had makeing the wing swap I did on mine cannon

No, they stopped doing the Capsules for releases last year, as the Pirates were sold in regular Legacy boxes, but were still an exclusive capsule.
I'm perfectly happy with CW Bruticus but damn that Vortex looks amazing. If the other Combaticons look that good I'll be tempted.
And yeah that Sideways just looks like the original mold to me, just lacking some paint apps.
Disappointing colors onIronfist Fistiron, what is up with all that grey? I wonder if the designer was looking a lot of his IDW panels which make his beige look more white/grey, but even then it's still a very dark shade of grey. And he's lacking the 90s bits of color like the teal and pink that made the original toy pop IMO.
And yeah that Sideways just looks like the original mold to me, just lacking some paint apps.

Yeah IDW sometimes colored him a very light beige, and sometimes colored him white (or maybe a shade or two greyer than white), but it's not dark grey like that toy. Even that panel is mostly him shaded just to let the light pop.
Vortex looks really good, but I'll need to see more of the team before I commit to buying in on another Bruticus. Although, if they went G2, or the RID Commandos, I might be more interested.
I want to like Carnivac and Fisitron, but that Weirdwolf mold makes me nervous.
Might go for Perceptor, I never bought the last version and I've never had a Ratbat, aside from the Cybertron Sideways repaint.

Carnivac and Fisitron look great I hope I can get them.
Vortex looks incredible.
Sideways looks great, but other then ankle tilts I don't see a reason to replace the original, it's not a downgrade by any means but not an upgrade either, more lateral or side-grade.
Alchemist looks good, nicely detailed from what I can see.
Onyx Prime has to be my most wanted of the 13, and I never imagined there would be an official toy of his winged centaur mode, and he turns into a 6-legged dragon? Sure, that's pretty creative.

Perceptor didn’t “click with me” when originally released. But the tweaks made here just work for me. I’ll probably get it (and Ratbat and Ramhorn being bonuses).
Vortex- Not going in any of the combiners, but I will readily admit that his vehicle mode turned out GORGEOUS.
Alchemist- He’s fine
Onyx Prime- His art didn’t do any favors to the GORGEOUS bronze/copper deco Hasbro went with. I am really impressed and he has moved up the queue for me.
The Cybertron remakes turned out nice, nicer than I expected. Good thing I’m cutting back because the exclusives slate has some STRONG entries this year.
