I'm so glad we're no longer in the era of "Can't confirm or deny any specific character. Toys are super secret serious business." These Q&A sessions are so much more useful now.
My god, right? Like, it's toys. We're talking about toys, not nuclear secrets. Just let us know whats coming. I assure you, we won't sink any ships with this amazing information.

Why not both? Forearm kibble that unfolds out into a shield? (Or two? Maybe make them sort of combine if you detach them into one big shield...)

I thought it was supposed to be both? Like, there's a HoS universe where they are those characters, but there's also a version of those events that happened in IDW1's past that was all Shockwave playing with his dolls or w/e.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Cthulhu stuff didn't happen in the IDW timeline.

So, just had a thought...

Supposing they want to do Computron with this new frame style... will they need to create a big honking attachment for Scattorshot?

Or... maybe there's a way they can just use the lower half of his legs instead?

Check it:

Here, you can see his big honkin' stompers, plus the wings, attached to the back of his thighs. (Not to mention his nosecone...)

But in the animation?

Nada. Some brown bits back there where they would be, but nothing like the junk packin' the toy's trunk.

And we know they like going for animation accuracy.

While we can see his legs well enough, I can't find any good shots of his back to see if the nosecone is still there.

But either way, I wonder if that stuff would somehow be enough to suffice for making Computron's frame without adding a bunch of stuff to Scattorshot's vehicle mode.

Then again, I guess they could just reference the model sheet instead...

They could make it with just Scattershot himself. But then that's not necessarily untrue of Silverbolt, Long Haul, and Jarugar either.

Tbh the main thing I'd be looking for in a new Computron is a more faithful Nosecone. It was unfortunate getting the G1 toy colors from the Hasbro release but the better drill tank mode from the Takara one (and only being able to afford/keep one).

Well, of course Scattershot will include an attachment. The real question is, how will Hun-Gurrr incorporate it when he gets retooled from Silverbolt too? :p

unluckiness

Somehow still sane

Early in the days of the 3P combiners, one released sketches of Terrorcons. Hungrr had the Abominus chestplate as a detachable set of wings. Maybe somehow bulk up the beast modes limbs with the rest of the body since spindly limbs are common with Terrorcons

Or dragon trailer.
