His robot fists are also tucked away but still visible towards the back of the altmode, showing how the sides of the ship unfold to become his arms.Even without the feet, you can still see robot detailing under the solar panels or whatever they are, and the shot from his back you can see that how the cockpit retracts and compacts on his back.
Eh, if they were going to go that far for a member of the 13, I’d prefer Macho Man or Hulkster. The Last Autobot. The Ultimate Warrior. The Soul of Cybertron.

In still waiting for them to release a POTP Primal Prime...The panels make him seem weirdly reminiscent of Optimal Optimus, IMO.
Shocking realization: He was secretly an Autobot Pretender all along!
Sure there are! All those blurry soldiers in the background. There's nobody in that picture?
Almost makes me wonder if he might have been considered for a Haslab project.
Teeeeeeeeechnically, two...He only showed up in one issue, the last issue, so I can easily see someone who hadn't read the comics since they ended not remembering his single appearance at the end of the comics' run.
This is the thing. Vector Prime is already based on the Last Autobot. Or if he isn't the idea within Hasbro at the time was that he was. Similarities to the face and var mode.I would totally be down for a Last Autobot, but I could see it being redundant, design-wise, since they already are including Vector Prime. That would make 2 of the 13 pretty dang similar looking.
Now, if they want to do a Last Autobot repaint of Vector Prime as it's own thing, I'd buy it.
It definitely has the Haslab look. I can't describe it, but it's a look. I don't get the same feeling from Masterpiece Ginrai.
Maybe someone vetoed the idea because they didn't want Haslab to have two Optimus Primes in a row, and/or someone ran the numbers and realized the design was totally viable as a Titan.
I’d imagine they have a bunch of Haslab preliminary concepts in the office and when the decision was made to downsize Titan, they pulled this one out because it’s Optimus and fits the theme. It also would probably look better to have your sizeclass relaunch sell wel and Prime helps with that too.
Solus Prime: Mother of GoBotronI really hope they don't take the easy route and make Crasher the only one descended from Solus Prime.
So, Maccadam is Alchemist Prime.I'd be open to a story where we find out that Vector Prime IS the Last Autobot. Like The Doctor (who?), due to living a time-travelers lifestyle, his personal timeline does not in any way match up to everyone elses. That Marvel story takes place towards the end of his extremely long lifetime.
Yeah him calling Star Optimus "the God Prime" in the newest Pulse video kinda irked me, mainly cause I thought that was Prima's whole thing, being the first holder of the matrix and wielder of the Star Saber, he's the greatest.Frankly, since Prima was the leader with both the Matrix and the fancy sword, I think it would have been more interesting to make any King Arthur analog be him instead, since he's pretty much been a blank slate for most of his existence, only really gaining a personality once the Covenant book was published, and it wasn't a very flattering depiction that basically made him a stick in the mud.
I'll still maintain that it should be Hot Rod in the 13th role, the movie was literally a heroes journey ending with him deemed worthy by the previous leader and made a Prime but people can't get over Optimus dying years after he's already came back. Or yeah just make up a new guy.I agree with that. Which means that the Thirteenth could be... anyone. Rik's assertion hints that the people behind Aligned/the Covenant felt someone special had to be #13 but... why? Make Prima the Big Damn Hero and make #13 just... someone else. Easy.
It sounds like Optimus being made the Thirteenth was a combination of no ideas + them overthinking the assignment.
