wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

I think he thinks he NEEDS to be trump 2.0, to swallow up the cult when trump finally kicks off. Of course, they also think they're going to take the election too, so no reasoning with a broken mind.

FB friend:
There are three kinds of people who continue to deny that Trump is racist:

1: People who know he's racist and don't care.

2: People with a single-digit IQ.

3: People so practised in the art of self-deception that they have concocted their own personal definition of the word "racism", which they use instead of the one found in the dictionary.

This can be fit in 1 or 2, I guess 2, but it is worth defining a little more clearly. There is a segment of the population who believe racism is disliking individual people or mistreating individual people because of their race. A racist wouldn't talk to someone from that race and might harm them or at least would shun them. So they know they aren't racist because they do genuinely like some people with another skin color and want the best for them. In fact, their friends are pretty good examples of the other race. To them it is very frustrating how people confuse it for racism when they try to explain that it is just the facts that some cultures just aren't as hardworking, dedicated, education-valuing, so on, as their own race.

Now that's how you make people second-guess voting for him. Trump's a populist, promising to instamagically fix everything people don't like about America. He always has an excuse for why he doesn't, of course, as they always do, but convincing them in the moment that it's going to happen is key to drumming up support. He plays to an audience that asks only what their country can do for them; any message resembling Churchill's "blood, toil, tears, and sweat" ain't gonna play for that crowd.

People will only second-guess Trump until he contradicts Elon's statement. Then the cult goes right back to factory defaults as if Elon never said a thing.

I am sitting here still wondering....because I know at the end of the day for all of the chaos and weirdness, Elon Musk is definitely an intelligent person.

Who is he talking to and what does it mean? Him saying this suggests that he feels like people need some straight talk so that they will be prepared for what is coming. Does that mean he really believes this is coming? Does he think that if Trump is elected he is really going to balance the budget?

Well there's the disconnect.

Musk is, and please excuse my language, a ******* idiot. He THINKS he's a smart person... because he has almost all the money and makes actual intelligent people (like various flavours of engineer, software developers, and business managers.) agree with him. He's another person who exploited others at every step, was very good at selling himself, and failed upward.

Does he believe trump will be good for the US and the world? Probably not, but a trump administration will be GREAT for musk's bottom line, and that's the only thing he actually cares about. He's a high functioning sociopath who started his career in this world by stealing emeralds from Afrikaners.

Musk is a smart person in the same way trump is a rich person. They are caricatures of stereotypes.

Zero if we are lucky
Zero won't be the result of luck. It'll be the result of enough people opening their eyes to the insanity of allowing Trump and his cronies and lickspittles to attain power again that they get off their asses and vote not just Harris, but Dem on every election they can vote on this year.
