Disney+s Live Action Rescue Rangers Is Not What You’re Expecting

Whelp, then I've had them backwards my entire life. BRB, going to re-evaluate my entire existence, now. Dunno, always had it in my mind that "Dale" was a more straight-laced sounding name, whereas "Chip" was the livelier one.

They're not doing that. Again, you see Gadget very briefly fighting alongside Chip in the trailer, flying their plane like she always used to.

It wouldn't be "getting away with it" if it's a fully licensed cameo. If the character has more than a "blink and you'll miss it" scene, then it might even be considered a prestigious cameo, as it's her work above many other contenders that gets to be seen as an ambassador for the entire medium.

    The Cheesecake Bakery

I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but dang, the internet works fast. It's only been a ~day: Also, girl received a helluva glow-up. She original surfaced as a beta character model from datamining when the game first came out. Original character model left, new one on the right:

Netflix Live Action Cowboy Bebop Series

I'm four episodes in now, and I think it's fine. It certainly won't set the world on fire and be a revolutionary rallying point as its namesake, but it's inoffensive. It remixes things just enough to be familiar while still having some new things to show long-term fans of the series, but...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Makes sense enough to me. Just classic corporate stuff. Always look to the future (Legacy), while Blaster is technically "in the past", as a last-wave Kingdom release (with Legacy repack).

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Two things between the photography and the renders - the renders tint all the details beneath the windows more blue than they actually become in real life, giving a different impression. And then in the photography, the Matrix is left out of the chest cavity for some reason, so you don't get...

MPG - new Japanese Transformers series

Are we highlighting paint chips? Because that's pretty common on this pre-release photography, if you give them close enough looks. They're all hand-painted samples, so the paint goes on extra thick and doesn't bond as well as the factory paint.

Netflix Live Action Cowboy Bebop Series

It had a pretty good mix. The episodes that dealt with the crew's backstories could be more melancholy and noir-ish, but the series had a lot of 70s inspired camp as well. Monkey de-evolution virus, delusional cowboy, blaxploitation funk. Part of why the original series is so beloved, is that...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I think the ones on his shoulders might be the real tires. You can see the arms wadded up inside the cab. The ones on his back, then, would be the spares. Which is in fact the accurate mounting location for spares on these types of vehicles.

Animated, for the time being, simply doesn't fit with their strategies going forward. They want multi-purpose toolings that can potentially find new life down the road. Animated reduxes proper can only be used for Animated.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

IMO, Skids' design is kinda clever, in that it seems clear to me that their attempt at "license dodging" his alt-mode winds up serving as an homage to his Marvel Comics profile art, which renders his City Turbo alt-mode as something quite a bit boxier: Seems appropriate, in that the Marvel...

    Outdated game mechanics.

And that's why I maintain that menu-driven combat is a design "dead end". Variations on "timed hits" is pretty much the only thing they've been able to devise to introduce some modicum of skill, and stop combat from being merely a "pass/fail" check. Usually those systems become so repetitive...

    Outdated game mechanics.

I don't necessarily disagree there, either. It's a pretty bare minimum attempt to mitigate my above issues. I'll still take it over absolutely nothing.

    Outdated game mechanics.

I understand the desire for games that aren't necessarily mechanically demanding, but traditional turn-based, menu-driven games go too far in the opposite direction. Without a truly intelligent opponent to go up against, it's always going to be a pure numbers game. Turn-based can work against...
