I've used Rubik's cube lube, or this, which is a lot thinner:

The thing is, in either case it takes VERY little, like a paperclip wire dipped to put a microdrop in the right area. The amount needed is TINY.

Trying to find this on Amazon.ca so I can use Prime for it, but they don't seem to have the 30 weight you linked.

They have some with less and more. Which direction would I want to go for this, do you think?

Wt in oils refers to how dense it is. Higher wt translated to a thicker, more viscous oil that’s more difficult to work with but is more durable and stable. going the next measurement up or down shouldn’t make too much difference for the purpose of lubricating toy parts.

Yes, it's the difference between gel (cube lube) and runny oil, and everything in between. Just keep in mind the super tiny amounts involved, like I said, microdroplet on a paper clip tip. This isn't an engine.
