So here's something I was thinking about earlier today. I think I'll call it "The Die Hard Effect." When it comes to movies, you'll hardly ever see much of a reaction other than cheering and glee to see people shot and blown up in the most graphic of ways. But if you really want to make the audience cringe, have your character walk barefoot on glass.

Why does everything have to be tech and plate armor? Batman Forever was simple. It was elegant. It was technologically advanced, but it wasn't outwardly gaudy.

I love batman forever... a perfect 10 for me hehehe.

Batman Forever was good at what it does. I genuinely believe if it was released at a different time, people would look more fondly on it. People expected more Burton after the first two movies and they got basically nipple Adam West.
