This should be funny considering that even the most single collector-card of Optimus is recolored as his "dead" variant:

Looks less "dead" to me and more like "black and white television".

Also in too few pieces to be the dead Sentinel Prime from TFOne.

Colorwise, though, I think that looks great.

Hasbro certainly isn't above "HE'S DEAD" repaints between the "Alternate Universe" repaint of ER Optimus and "Childhood Trauma" two-packs of SS '86 Ironhide/Prowl and Ratchet/Brawn.
