The ones here are 7/10 for me, not THAT greasy. I like that they keep the potato skins on. We always get regular fries, we didn't like the Cajun ones.
Smashburger's Smashtots are the top of the list as far as greasy goes. Tasty, but hella oily.
All time fave fast food fries for me is Popeyes. Love that seasoning. Order a full box and you're likely to get fresh ones!

Popeyes fries are pretty good. Not as good as Checkers, but pretty good, and Popeyes is more generous with the quantity.

First time I got Popeyes I got large fries because I just assumed I had to.

Haven’t been to the US in about a decade but our local large fries is like a medium in Freedom servings. I’m already satisfied with our local large fries so I couldn’t imagine eating an even bigger portion.

popeye’s only recently got back in our local market. Can’t say the chicken’s anything special but I do love the shrimp sandwich. Ever since our local Wendy’s chains phased theirs out, I’d been itching for a good fast food shrimp sandwich.

The thing with Popeyes is that it's really only good in comparison to KFC here in the US.

Just reading the name Popeyes, is making me think of the animated Cartoon character, as I not heard of this place before as I live in the UK, where I live, we got two major Fast Food joints, MC D & KFC, then scattered through out the area is a bunch of smaller take aways within a couple of minutes of my home, thus easy to get to!

I think KFC’s okay for the most part aside from that damn weird layer between the breading and the chicken skin. What even is that? It invites a lot of negative comparisons to stuff i’ve seen in my line of work.

I've had KFC twice. First time I was taking care of my dad, and was too distracted to form any opinion of the food whatsoever. Second time it was entirely fine, but Popeyes beats it.

Americans will make fun of some cheap working class food that nobody in the UK has actually seriously eaten as a staple of their diet since like 1870 all while eating mass produced fast food and TV dinners and dying of heart attacks before the age of 60.

Completely unrelated to the quality of their food, for a very long time as a child I had assumed that KFC had invented the spork, because it was the first and only place I had ever encountered that particular piece of hybrid cutlery until some point in, I dunno, junior high, maybe?

I initially find it weird that you can use a spork to eat at KFC then I remember that outside of here, KFCs don't serve spaghetti, soup and rice.

Even the ones in Hong Kong and China don't have rice meals regularly.

I never cared for the spork. The teeth are too darn small to be of any use as a replacement for a regular fork.

On the other hand, the teeth can be broken off and shot through a milk straw like a little poison dart at classmates during lunch period. Not that I ever did that...

I finally finished reading Dante's Inferno. I was able to find a rather recent, easier to read translation. Unfortunately, the person who did this translation hasn't done the rest of the Comedy, and the older translations hurt my head.

I was thinking Le Morte D'Arthur, but then I saw its translation isn't an easy read either and it's freaking long!

I think maybe I can try Once and Future King, see how long I can keep with it.

Dante would be thrilled that you chose an easier to read translation instead of struggling through an older translation that tries to be fancy.
