Yeah. That's the thing. I have a few 3P pieces I enjoy. But the people who are really into 3P are REALLY into 3P.3P defenders are a strange bunch
I'm not even anti-3P I just find it weird that so many of them will defend absolutely dogshit decisions by 3Ps.
The Dinoforce weren't Micromasters, though. They were just short.Honestly, my take on the whole thing is 'get what fits best for you'. Like a lot seemed iffy on Core Dinoking. For me it was perfect, both as what I wanted in a Micromaster Homage
Then again, they're not 'wrong continuity' in Japan.Liokaiser as a 'wrong continuity' counter to Omega Prime may work.
I can make fun of more than one thing at a time.View attachment 26646
That's Iron Factory's not-Liokaiser kibble. I will never make fun of Hasbro's frames ever again.

It's an easy mistake for many to make since for a lot of people they only know "these are smaller and simpler than the Pretenders of the year prior" and "Monstructor is so short Micromaster combiners dunk on him"Yeah, they were minibot-toy sized.
Now if we could just get Hasbro to do a Road Caesar...
As much as I'm impressed with how the new Dinoking turned out, I would hate seeing him standing next to any of the HasLabs and being completely dwarfed. That's a real flashback to some of my least favorite G1 toyline size issues.
Pretty much. Dinoking and Galaxy Shuttle are a-ok by me. Scale was out of whack in the original Victory line too. Getting too deep on this stuff is the path to madness."Scale" is a four-letter word in Transformers...
