I'd probably be all in on a full set of Dinobots. I keep meaning to set up a pic for the pics thread, but my PotP Dinobots (with Red Swoop!) look a bit weird alongside the SS86 and Legacy Dinobots. A set of G1 Dinobots would balance the group out a lot better. I don't really have all that much interest in just Grimlock, though.

Magnus sounds interesting. He was kinda the main bot who came to mind as an example of where ML would be hard to pull off. I'd be interested if they can manage it.

I can't see it happening, but I'd love it if they did ML versions of all the TFTM new Autobots. I'd be really happy to at least get an improved Rodimus, though.

Rodimus I'm a little mixed on because, while he would obviously have today's standard level of articulation, his awkward proportions in Robot Mode would most likely be retained, as this line seems to want to keep all of the original toys' proportions intact, no matter how awkward some of them originally were.

On the one hand, I actually wouldn't mind if a Missing Link take on Rodimus tried to improve his Robot Mode proportions to look a little more appealing and less like a nervous stick figure, but on the other hand, I also feel that doing so would be completely antithetical to the spirit of this line's intent, a betrayal of what this line is trying to do.

Legacy Optimus is basically my sweet spot.

I have ML Convoy (toy version) and it’s premium as hell with the feel and molded detail but the $24 Legacy Optimus is a much better “update” of the design IMO.

Rodimus Prime is one of the earliest toys to trigger my "I have to experience this. It can't be that bad, can it?" instinct. I never got around to buying one, but I still want to. If there's a Missing Link, I'm getting it.

Who knows. Maybe the stiffness makes the proportions seem worse than they really are. Maybe Missing Link articulation will fix the whole thing.

Being able to strike more dynamic poses and effect a different silhouette helps distract from Earthrise OP's arms/legs/waist situation a fair bit. Of course the G1 Rodimus toy has more strikingly off proportions there, but anything to change up short sticks vs long sticks would be pleasant. Raising the shoulders out to the sides, bending the elbows and angling the arms, bending knees to visually shorten the legs, etc.
