I didn't realize my space/cost issue was that common. It's honestly part of why I went with an Amazon-points Collector rather than Snake Mountain. It still had a Skeleton throne, but was a lot more compact and was functionally ten bucks.
Plus I did love the 'evil talon fighter' vibe and...
That's odd. I thought it was very impressive. Then again, I wasn't going to order one and didn't see what it would do for me, and I guess that's the problem, if others had the same response. But my issues were mostly financial and space, the lair itself was quite nice!
The new line will be the TherapyMasters, representing all the things kids from the 80's saw RUINED FOREVER as the concepts were JaAm'd into a modern era with different budget requirements and material cost estimates.
TherapyMasters hide their deep seated inferiority complexes inside!
The tech...
The biggest trouble for Pretenders is the legs. With modern jointing, you can't just leave them empty and hollow directly connecting into the torso for extra space. On the other hand, Double Pretender Megatron/Grand Maximus's shell didn't use that space anyway and still fits a lot more than a...
If you're ok with an Action Master Primus you could just have it as a shell that goes over your dog or pump house, and then put HasLab Unicron on top of it. Or if you wanted higher-end, a Cybertron shaped storage shed that you can then put your OTHER toys inside.
The only problem I see...
I really liked the LOOK of Deluxe Thunderwing, though I do hope he gets something better later and I was surprised to see him mentioned in the interview. Though more likely...
"The destruction of the Pretenders will be the next part of our EEEEEEEEEvil plan..."
"Evil plan?"
"No, no, you have...
One of the reasons I'm a bit worried about DinoKing. But it probably won't be nearly as limited as a Comic Con set that already sold a lot of its stock AT the con. We'll see.
It was entirely speculation on my part but I thought Core Pretenders were a possible opportunity for making the whole package in parts, because at the same time, 'Energon Monster' popped up in the solicitations and I and others thought there might be a change for a larger non-transforming shell...
The biggest trouble would be the two colors, simple for a normal release, but problematic for any HazLab unless they made it a really expensive two-pack. Prime/Magnus did it, but they were different and mutually compatible and supporting molds that combine.
The weird part is I could see Overlord tried that way, though I have no idea what they'd use for tiers. Leaving off things like the cannon or PowerMasters would not go over well, though things like shields, cannons, etc WERE used that way for both Victory Saber amd Deathsaurus. A lot of the...
Meanwhile the next Transformers Haslab was briefly brought up in an interview and while no information was give it was said to 'melt people's faces', so I can only assume we're finally getting Soundwave turning into a realistic Ark..
I thought it was about pie filling, plus Hasbro did give Hot Shot the license plate. Deleted to not deal with TFW style stuff. Edit: And I goofed my edit/delete, that was supposed to be OVER the comment over this one, not under.
