Adjusted for inflation which Transformers series was cheapest to produce?

According to Alvarez or to the show's actual creators? Cuz the latter have rebutted the former's exaggerations, saying that Prime was not nearly as expensive as Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Plus Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Jason David Frank, Judd Nelson, Victor Caroli, Gregg Berger, Ron Perlman, Samoa Joe, and Peter Cullen likely cost them a pretty penny, too.

Adjusted for inflation which Transformers series was cheapest to produce?

FWIW, the first 26-episode season of Beast Wars by itself cost $18 million in 1996 USD.

Adjusted for inflation which Transformers series was cheapest to produce?

Armada's animation was that bad looking because it had an incredibly rushed production. Cartoon Network wanted a certain number of episodes ready to air before the episodes were actually finished being made and ready for broadcast. So the early episodes of Armada were aired before the animation...

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion 10/27 Update: First look at Megatronus the Fallen

It's not just that, but his defeatist attitude about how weak he and his team are and how inevitable it is that Shockwave and the Decepticons are gonna beat them in the long run, requiring Kup to perk him up with a pep talk that still doesn't seem to cure Rodimus's doubts.

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion 10/27 Update: First look at Megatronus the Fallen

You know, I think I realized the true issue back then. It's not that Rodimus should have been written more like how Optimus was written before him, it's that Optimus should have been written more like how Rodimus would be written later. :p

And then he immediately got all emo about that right after, yelling at his fellow Autobots and practically calling himself a failure: But then, the first time we see him in "The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1", before he hears anything about Optimus's body having been recovered, he's seen...

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion 10/27 Update: First look at Megatronus the Fallen

Season 3 also wasn't very kind to Rodimus in how he was written in comparison to how Optimus was written in Seasons 1 and 2. For the latter, Optimus had this "Cool Dad Action Hero" vibe where he was confident and heroic and got to go on these cool adventures all the time, charging forward and...

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion 10/27 Update: First look at Megatronus the Fallen

We really never realized back then just how much that Cybertron-Revenge of the Fallen era changed about the Thirteen, making them all Primes, removing The Fallen's Unicronian affiliation to make him a more generic traitor... in fact, that last one may have been why the Covenant book changed him...

It's a shame the name "Nexus Maximus" was so tied down to what it was, since it would have better reflected the original non-Prime nature of the Thirteen.
