I can't quite put my finger on where it comes from but I also got a huge Batman TAS vibe from it. Agree. He seems just about right here. He is not infallible but in every fight scene he was clearly in charge and feared. Alfred, and Gordon both got to contribute to detective work and puzzle...

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'd watch it after school. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. A traditional take would have to get RAVE reviews for me to take up much interest. This looks interesting enough I'll probably give it a watch.

Depends on the game. There were plenty of games back in the day with total b.s. cryptic "puzzles" that were nearly impossible to solve with the given "clues" I recal Simons Quest being particularly bad.
