That post gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. Imagine the depressed turnout for Walker in the runoff it the GOP's best case scenario is once again a 50/50 split with Harris living in the Senate. We'll win easy. Which since we won by a point we were going to do anyway.
And with Nevada going to a recount no matter who wins (under 900 vote difference with 94% in), and Georgia headed to runoff that we should win, things are looking good for Democrats. Or as good as they can after a 50/50 vote election.
And it would give us the greatest attack ad in history - "Republicans think you're old enough to die in war at 18 but too young to vote." Sure send that jive to Bidens desk for a swift veto.
I'm only holding out hope for Nevada in that only 80% of the vote is in, which means the outstanding should be mail in ballots. Assuming those break heavily our way and there's a chance we keep the seat.
Reasonably sure. The GOP needed 5 and they flipped 4 via gerrymandering in Florida alone. Going to be fascinating to see how they govern with slim margins, and hopefully a Democratic Senate where their ideas go to die.
Exit polls. Nothing good for us in there. Older electorate versus 2018, with a largely negative view on the President.

Ugh. Anyway the news should start pouring in soon.
IF we lose the House the GOP will government shutdown us into a recession, which they will 100% own. Next summer when gas doesn't magically go back down to 2 bucks they're going to own that too. The party will emerge in 2024 damaged as hug.
Be careful what you wish for Republicans.
Anyway I...
Can Donald Trump's taxes magically erase record inflation and drop gas back to under $3? If so there's a chance it matters this midterm. If not it won't matter.
Trump isn't going to easily win in 2024 because the country is going to have two years to watch them not govern in the House and maybe...
One week to go. Eep. Not looking good, GOP surged on the generic ballot

The House is gone. Pray for a miracle in the Senate. Sigh.
Sadly the effect we're going to see is when the 30% of the population that is just plain evil joins up with 25% that are just pissed off about inflation. Hate to say it but I think the real backlash to Roe falling vote is 2024. This year we're just facing too many negatives.
Chuck Schumer was caught on a hot mic telling the President that things are looking bleak in Georgia.

Sad all around. I think we're looking at losing 20-30 seats in the House...
