    Transformers Legacy toyline

I liked them, myself, though I wish we'd gotten a Waverider to finish the Autobot set. I even liked their Targetmaster modes (but then, I would. Never met a Targetmaster I didn't like.). My only quibble is, instead of the Prime emblems, I wish the inner robots sported the heads of the original...

    Anime

So, has anyone here watched Lightspeed Electroid Albegas? I recently introduced Haywire3 to Voltron, and we have the Lion Force And Vehicle Force set that we are watching through, but I remembered that there was a third Voltron that didn't quite make it, from a show called Albegas. Lo and...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I had forgotten about the Energon Monster switcheroo, and having the open slot in Deluxe does somewhat explain the why of it, but I will still maintain that filling that slot with Skullgrin was a misstep. Having the Pretenders planned out at the Core size should have happened during the design...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

This was discussed elsewhere (maybe earlier in this thread?), but the decision to move Skullgrin to Deluxe was not a great one. Distribution woes aside, Iguanus was a decent figure, and Bomb Burst is likewise full of personality. But then Skullgrin comes out in Deluxe and breaks the cohesiveness...

    Lego and other brick toys

https://www.brothers-brick.com/2024/08/04/lego-dungeons-dragons-collectible-minifigures-71047-review/ Brothers Brick has an early copy of the Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures. 5 of the figures come with alternate heads with dual printing for extra customization. I am not really...

Oooh...a Breastforce made entirely of Leozacks!

    Transformers Legacy toyline

My town's Walmart is clearancing out a lot of stuff, I literally just picked up an Armada Megatron for $20. Might be worth checking any nearby Walmarts (and check the price with the app in store mode, ours had them tagged at $30), especially if they have an inventory or remodel coming up. They...

    Studio Series discussion

Lots of possibilities there, and the price is right... I always said, back when the movie lines were 50% Camaro Bumblebee by volume, if Hasbro had to fill the lines with Bumblebees due to retailer demand, at least make them interesting: "Street Prowl" Bumblebee in a police deco "Silver Streak"...

I will always, ALWAYS be down for new versions of Targetmaster Blurr (and Hot Rod and Kup to go with him)!

Gobots and Machine Robo News & Discussion

From the waist up, I would agree. The leg designs seem more movie-style to me, though. The digitigrade-looking legs on vehicle transformers (Beast Wars is another story) is something I don't remember seeing before the movie lines. But, again, just my opinion and personal taste.

I'm curious, what is the sorta-G1 Arcee? Is it a one-off custom or does someone sell that? Asking for a friend...

Gobots and Machine Robo News & Discussion

Call me obstinate, but I'm not a big fan of using movie aesthetic toys for Gobot redecos? That said, if those molds were on the table, I would probably use them for either Night Fright, Warpath, or Wrong Way: https://tfu.info/Gobots/Renegades/NightFright/nightfright.htm...

I did not know that; Spinister's a pretty good mold, and the color layouts would lend themselves to Cop-Tur's own layout. I would definitely hope for a head remold and a new weapon to replicate his original rotor blade if Hasbro were to go that route, but Spinister is a great option!

Gobots and Machine Robo News & Discussion

Definitely wouldn't mind a Bug Bite that looks closer to a VW Bug. Another poster mentioned Cop-Tur from Siege Springer; while I can't think of a current mold that would be a better fit, I'd rather any Cop-Tur had a rotor with at least 4 blades to better match the original's signature weapon...

Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Between KARR being a relatively easy redeco of KITT and being voiced by Peter Cullen, this only makes sense for a future Transformer figure. The only hurdles I could see would be the licensing costs and possibly a new voice chip?

I really like these ideas, but I agree, it kind of derails the thread. How about we move this discussion to the Gobot thread? https://www.allspark.com/forums/threads/gobots-and-machine-robo-news-discussion.620/page-5

So, now that we got the Legacy Gobots 3-pack, what other Gobot-based decos and retools would you like to see on Legacy molds? I would like Throttle or Dart from the Animated Prowl mold: https://tfu.info/Gobots/Guardians/Throttle/throttle.htm https://tfu.info/Gobots/Renegades/Dart/dart.htm

    Transformers Legacy toyline

You know, making a Transformers Legacy line is kind of a fine-line balance, isn't it? Modern toy engineering CAN improve on figures from G1 and early G2 (but that doesn't automatically mean that it does), but from Beast Wars onwards, the improvements generally tend to be less drastic, and often...
