    Post-War Transformers Conflict: Sports?

I like this idea, but since it is post-war, who does the refereeing? Seems like any perceived bad calls could reignite a war, so would the referees be an even mix of Autobot and Decepticons, or would they be a mutually trusted third party?

    The Toku Thread

For anyone interested, looks like Ultraman Taiga will be out on Blu-ray from Mill Creek on or around August 5th. Hopefully Z will be following soon!

    The new Transformers Deal Thread

Ollies buys stuff from inventory overruns, store closings, etc, so there's no guarantee that any particular Ollie's store will have it, but if you have an Ollie's store near you, they may have it for that price. It's worth looking, at least.

The Original Gobots returning to TV

Eh, it was the late 80's. I remember a cartoon for Rude Dog and the Dweebs, and Space Cats, who got their orders from the Great D.O.R.C (the Disembodied Omnipotent Ruler of Cats). And that was just on broadcast, cable was even weirder...

    Studio Series discussion

The SS version was one of the Walmart Black Friday 2-packs that hung around forever in some parts of the US. Can't get much cheeper than they are already selling on ebay...

    The Repaint Concept Thread

It's time for another odd request for any skilled digibashers out there: 2010 Lugnut decoed to homage Tetsujin 28 (or Shin Tetsujin 28)

    Anime

If you like action anime, do yourself a favor and watch Cowboy Bebop. The whole series. You can watch the movie if you want, but only after. It's pure, animated "cool". Mostly episodic, but there are threads of a story throughout the series. Several threads, actually, as we generally only learn...

Gotta Catch 'Em All! - Pokémon Thread

It was a Community Day Classic, so it wasn't quite the same as the monthly Community Day. Other than a higher shiny rate and Blast Burn for Typhlosion, the bonuses are pretty bate-bones.

    Anime

So, I'm playing Community Day (Cyndaquil) on Pokemon GO, but got the music turned off and jamming to my tunes, and a Cowboy Bebop album comes on, and now I'm wondering what a Pokemon/Cowboy Bebop mashup would look like...?

G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

According to the BBTS preorders (that got pulled, but still show up as preorders on my account), Cover Girl and the B.A.T. were both 19.99.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

For sure, I've always considered my collection to be a "playable" one (I was never an MISB collector), and I'm happy to have a son to share my hobby with. Besides, as he likes to point out, he gets it all anyway when I die. (Pretty dark humor for a 5-year-old, but he's not wrong.)

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I guess I'm lucky; once I get the basic Deluxe version and Hasbro announces the extra special new hat version, I can give the first version to my kid to play with so he'll stay out of my premium version. (TRUTH: He won't stay away from my premium version even if he has his own version. The line...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I agree that retail distribution for Transformers is pretty bad (I work in retail auto parts, so my preference to support brick and mortar is more on principle as a solidarity thing), and I have a Pile of Loot at BBTS for the "must-haves", so it's not like I don't buy online at all, I just...

I also tend to lean on retail (partly because I work in retail, and don't appreciate the whole "everything's cheaper/better/plentiful online" attitude), and I will say that while I have seen a couple of the Core Dinobots in stores, they have been pretty scarce. Target has been better than...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Personally, I think some "Versus" packs would be the way to go; get an Autobot, Guardian, or Maximal vs a Decepticon, Renegade, Quintesson, or Predacon Core figures , throw in a couple accessories for a MacGuffin and maybe a cardboard diorama, and bring back the Battles in a Box!

    Transformers Legacy toyline

On the one hand, I am very sad to see the Core class go. On the other hand: 1) I miss the simpler transformations of the Legends/Legion scale figures. The Core figures were quite a bit more complicated, which I'm sure increased parts count and assembly costs. 2) With some notable exceptions...
