I'm not positive because of the spring-loaded weaponry and the C-Joint system. And when Hasbro released SS86 Arcee using the old Generations mold, it wasn't exactly a slam dunk. Found like 6 in clearance at Walmart
Oops. It was supposed to say Trailbreaker. Originally, I was going to include Treds but i figured we don't need two Mini-Bot repaints. Plus, I'm not a big fan of the Siege Spinister figure (which is like the only modern helicopter. Fingers crossed for Armada Cyclonus)
I'm not denying their vision. But there's no way it wasn't MEANT to be MW. Every deco (except the random Vehicons) were, for the most part, direct translations of the original colors. But BotCon learned and rebounded with what I think was their best theme of the 2010's: Pirates vs Knights
The set was a bit of a flop. But it featured a MW Hoist that barely resemble the original, two random BM Vehicons, and an inaccurately colored MW Skyarp. Not to mention getting ANOTHER Mirage instead of a MW Prowl. Plus the missed opportunity to use Cybertron Defense Red Alert as MW Soundwave...
Am I the only one who is shocked we have no BM or MW representation? I don't think they would be that hard. I also think that Cybertron Metroplex should've been Energon Omega
You're right. Things are different. But the retail excuse isn't valid nowadays. Retailers don't usually carry Titans or Commanders. But Hasbro doesn't crowdfund those. Brick-and-mortar is dead. Unless you go to smaller toy stores, you can't find that kind of product. I find more Leaders in a toy...
And as for the retail thing, nothing is at retail. Know why? Because scalpers take figures by the dozens and re-sell them at double the price. Instead of doing package refreshes of desired figures like Netflix Soundwave and Netflix Bumblebee, we got Wheeljacks and Arcees
