As much as I like the chill Hisuian ghost form, it's nice to have good old Angry Badger Typhlosion again.
(I miss the Switch's screencap button)
Colosseum is somehow even more tedious than I remembered. Granted I'm not doing myself any favors by insisting on purifying everyone then deciding to...
I mean, it helps, but some of those tasks are a real pain and some Pokemon are pretty rare spawns too.
And more to the point, I've been completely unable to find any Shiny Dustox, despite perfecting the dex for it and its pre-evolutions and repeatedly flying through all its locations (and mass...
I long since got into the habit of regularly visiting the campsites to dump all the collected items, so me getting the satchel upgrades was mostly just looking to burn money.
'Course now that I burned all that money, now I'm having to actually gather supplies instead of just buying Ultra/Jet...
So WfC's over, and Legacy's abandoned the weird squiggly badges and taking a far more straightforward approach:
... which I won't be covering since I don't find it terribly interesting.
And here's an unceremonious dump of all the WFC symbol junk, for whoever might want them:
Autobot
Primal looking like Primal is quite a surprise, even though I had expected the designs to be a lot more faithful now. Kinda curious about Wheeljack now, given he apparently turns into a hippie van.
Prime looks rather like Legacy Bulkhead.
Tigatron's giving me Rotf Ravage flashbacks....
Glad they have that sound effect for shininess, some of them are easy to miss. Especially if you're keeping your distance or just flying by.
Love it when the colors are really different:
On an entirely different tangent, I went and bought all the Baggins upgrades for the satchel. I really...
The wait time for the space-time distortions can really drag on in the post-game, but a Shiny Dusclops and an Alpha Silveon spawning side by side was worth it.
Why is Disney so bad at aliens?
Having read John Jackson Miller's Kenobi recently, this looks kinda.... stupid. I dunno, guess I always expected Ben's in-between-trilogy adventures to be fairly low-key, with Maul being the one "big" event. Inquisitors and off-world exploits and Vader rematch...
A box full of shinies, and then some:
Quite a few more than I have in Shield, heh
Granted if we count blatant hacks used to advertise, it's actually the same number, oddly enough.
Completing the 'Dex entry, Perfecting the 'Dex Entry, getting the Shiny Charm, and the mass outbreaks all increase the odds.
Granted, I didn't really see any shinies until after I'd completed the story.
Yeah, I've gotten over 20(!) shinies so far, and while it's insanely fun to post team photos that are entirely alternate colors, I don't really need to do that all the time.
That being said:
As a huge fan of Iago from the Aladdin movies, I'm quite pleased. I actually tried perfecting Chatot's...
A gemstone.
A red gemstone paired with a blue gemstone (and later a green one) in obvious homage to the original games. It'd be one thing if Scarlet was paired with a shade of blue or something, but as it is we got Pokemon Slightly Different Color Version and Pokemon New Color Version.
This was an eventful day.
New games! Kinda strange one's called Scarlet since it's a bit redundant with Red.
The stark difference between SwSh and PLA leaves me a bit unsure on what to expect from this game. Open world at least is encouraging.
Hot Pepper Gator is pretty amazing. Grass Cat is...
