I think before things get heated / personal, this whole exchange can pretty much be summed up as such:
Stealing and/or supporting stealing these toys is wrong. No one here really seems to think otherwise.
The scale of the "wrongness" is low enough that 99% of us feel is below the threshold of...
I can see an argument. The way I see it, the damage or potential damages are:
1- Creates a market for stolen goods that may tempt an otherwise straight-laced employee into stealing, possibly at the cost of their job. By supporting the black market, you are indirectly causing people to loose...
Just to toss my $0.02 in, I agree with Dekafox about videos, both as reviews and as "further reading on my point." I rarely if ever watch them. At most, if I see that there is a video review of a figure I'm curious about, I jump around to a few interesting points in the video with the sound...
One of my favorites. We watch it every year at Thanksgiving, and occasionally other times if we happen to catch it on.
We actually live not terribly far from the actual Braidwood Inn (the "those aren't pillows" motel) and made a point of stopping and taking a photo on the way up to Chicago...
Don't need this set at all since I already have a Teletraan from the Ark and I've got plenty of Jazz and Optimi already. I would buy an individual Mainframe, though. Wouldn't even be mad if the computer was in his colors instead of Inside-The-Ark Orange.
My G1-er is showing, but I still want a Jawbreaker in classic DInobot colors. He's got the right "clunky 80's robot in the general shape of a dinosaur" look to fit in with the group. My only quibble is that I wish he had a longer snout/beak.
