I took a temporary paycut a few months ago to get out of a job that was slowly killing me mentally. The worst part of the new job isn't the paycut, it's the increased travel time, which has increased my fuel expenditures by around 50%.. Would have felt MUCH worse a couple years ago.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. Real reason is FOSS developers generally don't have the financial incentive to keep things consistent between versions. If a high ranking member of a FOSS project decides there is a better way to do something, they end up implementing it, for better or worse.

Class system could simply be based on the order Tobin researched them. Really the only ones that seem to go in order are 1 through 4. After that it gets a bit wonky. Class 1 is probably the most common type and the other 3 being 'human' in nature would likely be the ones Tobin would focus on...

Step one would be to limit the power of the police union and institute more oversight. Unions, in general, are good, but there are edge cases and the current form of the police union is one of them.

The gist of it is Boeing was apparently using parts rejected by QC to build aircraft the whistleblower reported it. Boeing subsequently demoted him and he was suing them for illegal retaliation.

Boeing spent nearly 15 million on lobbyists last year not to mention it's close ties to the US military and NASA. This isn't Bob the butcher killing one of his employees because said employee called the health inspector reporting he was selling meat past it's expiration date.
